Chris Diaz

Chris Diaz has extensive work experience in various roles related to operations, maintenance, and energy management. Most recently, they worked at IHI Power Services Corp as the Operations + Maintenance Lead. Prior to that, they held positions at Cogentrix Energy, LLC, where they served as the Operations Manager and Operations and Maintenance Coordinator. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as the Operations Shift Supervisor at Emera Energy. Chris also worked as a Control Room Operator at Capital Power Corporation, a Power Plant Operator at NAES Corporation, and a Water Treatment Technician/Small Account Manager at Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company. Their career began in the US Navy, where they served as a Propulsion Plant Operator and Radiation Technician.

Chris Diaz obtained a Safety and Health Specialist Certification in Industrial Safety Technology/Technician from Keene State College, graduating in 2022. Prior to this, they attended the Nuclear Power School at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC) from 2001 to 2003. Their high school education was completed at St. Anthony's High School.
