Sean Bezuidenhout

Sean Bezuidenhout has over 20 years of work experience in the IT industry. Sean currently serves as the Head of Infrastructure / Cloud Architect at iiDENTIFii, where they successfully led the migration of the entire technology stack to Azure. Prior to this role, Sean worked at Dell for eight years as a Technical Account Manager - Senior Advisor, ensuring service levels were maintained for large enterprise customers. Sean also served as a Senior Technology Services Manager at Dell EMC, where they implemented proactive approaches to IT management for maximum efficiency and ROI. Before joining Dell, Sean held leadership positions at Pilbeam and Pilbeam RSA, where they managed support teams, implemented cost-saving measures, and developed departmental visions. Sean started their career as a Senior Operations Technologist at Medi-clinic Ltd, followed by roles at Caltex South Africa as an Infrastructure Support Specialist and Bank of Ireland Asset Management as a Senior IT Administrator. Throughout their career, Sean has demonstrated a strong commitment to driving innovation, reducing IT costs, and delivering excellent service to clients.

Sean Bezuidenhout obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town in 2013. Prior to that, they attended Settlers High School from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their formal education, Sean also holds various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals obtained in April 2022, Microsoft Azure AZ 900 obtained in October 2020, and ITIL Foundation obtained in August 2013. Sean also obtained the certification of MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in March 1996. Sean Bezuidenhout recently achieved the certifications of Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) and (ISC)² Candidate, both obtained in May 2023. Sean also received the certifications of AZ-303: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies and Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert in December 2020.
