Katherine Shepherd

Katherine Shepherd is an experienced project manager currently working at the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) since September 2021. With a background in project compliance and administration, Katherine has held roles such as Project Officer at Brighton and Hove Community Works, where compliance with funding criteria was paramount. Katherine's project experience also includes a role as Project Administrator for the CHIME Myanmar Project at the University of Sussex, focusing on migration and development. Previous roles include Waste and Recycling Projects Officer at Waverley Borough Council and Training and Development Manager at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, where Katherine established training functions and developed sustainable learning solutions. Katherine’s educational credentials include an MSc in Climate Change & Development from SOAS University of London and a BSc (Hons) in International Studies from The Open University.
