Arijit Sarmah

Arijit Sarmah is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management, consulting, and entrepreneurship, currently serving as Senior Manager at IIMA Ventures since October 2021, where responsibilities include leading regional management of programs and curating investible startups. Previously, Arijit held the position of Project Manager Team Lead at Assam Agribusiness Growth Lab, overseeing a World Bank-funded accelerator that supported over 80 agribusinesses. Other notable roles include Assistant Manager at KPMG India, CEO of AASHRAY, Founder of Oxys Consulting & Services, and Incubation Manager at CrAdLE. Arijit began a career at Tata Consultancy Services and held positions at the Indian Chamber of Commerce and the Indian Tea Association. Arijit holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Savitribai Phule Pune University and an MBA in Marketing from Gauhati University.
