Sega (Shih-Chia) Cheng has worked for several companies since 2006. In 2006, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Google Taiwan R&D Center, where they developed a system for evaluating Google's Chinese search quality and helped set up Google Taiwan office. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Google, where they worked on extensive projects across large-scale backend, frontend, and mobile, including Android Media. In 2012, they became a Board Supervisor at Gamania and a Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of iKala, whose vision is to let everyone benefit from AI. In 2017, they joined Rayark Inc. as a Board of Directors.
Sega (Shih-Chia) Cheng received a Master in Computer Science from Stanford University between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a B.A. in Information Management from National Taiwan University between 1999 and 2003. In addition, they hold certifications from Sun Microsystems as a Sun Certified Java Developer and Sun Certified Java Programmer.
