Martyn Gilbey

Martyn Gilbey has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Martyn currently works at Iken Business as a Sales Team Lead since January 2024. Prior to this role, they served as a Business Development Manager from May 2023 to January 2024, and as a Client Account Manager from March 2020 to May 2023. Before joining Iken Business, Martyn worked at Vodafone Business as a Client Sales Specialist from April 2018 to November 2019. Martyn specialized in consultative sales and account management in the public and private sectors. Martyn also has experience with BT, where they served as an Account Director for Local & Devolved Government from June 2011 to April 2018. In this role, they managed key accounts and built strategic partner relationships. Additionally, Martyn worked at AIB as a Commercial Relationship Manager from February 2003 to June 2011. Martyn was responsible for acquiring and managing significant lending deals for SMEs.

Martyn Gilbey completed their primary education at Framlingham College from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained their GCSE's in various subjects. Martyn then attended Farlingaye High School from 1995 to 1997, where they completed their 'A' Levels in English and Business Studies. Martyn further pursued their education at The Open University from 2003 to 2010, earning a BA HONS degree in Childhood & Youth Studies.
