Nerea Casado

Nerea Casado is an experienced researcher currently holding the positions of Investigador asociado at Ikerbasque and Junior Group Leader at the Innovative Polymers Group since September 2022. Nerea's previous roles include Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea from May 2017 to October 2022 and PhD Student at the Basque Center for Macromolecular Design and Engineering, POLYMAT Fundazioa from July 2013 to April 2017. Nerea has also contributed as a Visiting PhD Student at Deakin University in late 2014 and as a Research Assistant at both the University of the Basque Country and Utrecht University during 2011 and 2012. Nerea obtained a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry and Polymeric Materials and a PhD in the same field from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
