Bonginhlanhla Lushaba

Bonginhlanhla Lushaba has a strong background in software quality assurance (SQA) and automation engineering. They began their career in 2007 as an Automation Engineer at SQS, where they worked until 2010. In 2010, they joined iLAB as a Test Lead (Automation Engineer)/Senior Test Analyst. They worked at iLAB until 2012, when they joined Micro to Mainframe (Pty) Ltd as a Senior Technical Test Analyst. After a year at Micro to Mainframe, Bonginhlanhla returned to iLAB in 2013 as a Senior Technical Test Analyst. They later transitioned to the position of SQA Engineering Manager in 2018 and continue to work in that role.

Bonginhlanhla Lushaba completed their postgraduate education at Wits Business School from 2019 to 2020. They did not obtain a specific degree or field of study during this period. Prior to attending Wits Business School, Bonginhlanhla Lushaba earned a National Diploma in Information Technology from Durban University of Technology from 2003 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Bonginhlanhla Lushaba has obtained various certifications. They obtained the Automation Engineer Level 1, Automation Specialist Level 1, Automation Specialist Level 2, and Test Design Specialist Level 1 certifications from Tricentis in July 2021. In January 2015, they achieved the ISTQB Advanced Test Manager certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). Bonginhlanhla Lushaba also holds the ISEB Intermediate Certificate in Software Testing from the Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB), obtained in 2009, and the ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing, obtained in 2007. Lastly, they completed the Management Advancement Programme at Wits Business School, although the specific month and year of completion are unknown.
