Tim Lavnick has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Tim started their career as a Master Instructor in the United States Air Force, where they served for 20 years. After leaving the Air Force, they worked as a Senior Instructor at Boeing Aircraft Corporation, where they authored training materials and conducted instruction on aircraft propulsion systems.
Following their time at Boeing, Tim joined Fidelity Information Services as a Senior Business Analyst, where they translated user requirements into functional specifications and conducted unit testing for modified software applications. Tim then worked at Computer Task Group at Eli Lilly as a Technical Writer/Validation Specialist, where they authored and validated IT system validation plans and documentation.
Tim later transitioned to Baker Hill Solutions LLC as a Software QA Analyst, where they developed test plans and scripts and troubleshooted client-reported issues. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer at iLAB, where they are involved in software quality assurance activities.
Throughout their career, Tim has demonstrated strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Tim Lavnick obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University in 1993. Tim also holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree from Wayland Baptist University. Additionally, they have a certification as a Certified Software Tester from the Quality Assurance Institute.
