Kelvin Njau has held various roles in the past few years, beginning in 2018. In 2018, they were an Attache - Records Management at the National Hospital Insurance Fund - Kenya, where they were responsible for mail management, classification and indexing of records, scanning and uploading files in the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS), handling of pending correspondences and bring ups, opening and closing of files, filing of records and documents, tracking file movements, and ensuring security of records. During their attachment period, they introduced a file synchronization program which syncs electronic files online and between computers and managed to rearrange the inactive files section of the HR registry. In 2019, they were a Registry Intern at Chai Sacco Society Ltd, where they were responsible for indexing of files and updating the records inventory, tracing and retrieval of files, filing of records and documents, file tracking through Navision system, maintenance of registers and delivery books, ensuring confidentiality and security of records, data entry using MS Access, and compiling monthly reports. Kelvin also achieved the redesign of the file movement register to compact the details captured, significantly reducing the time used in file tracking and making it easier to track file movements, and performed conservation binding to 400+ member files, making them tear resistant and neat. In 2020, they joined Ilara Health as a Senior Growth Associate, a Growth Analyst, and a Customer Success Analyst. As a Customer Success Analyst, they were responsible for working closely with Ilara’s healthcare facilities to understand their patient data needs and gaps, digitization and analysis of raw patient data from Ilara’s healthcare facilities into usable and useful patient information as required, and implementing, tracking, and evaluating impact of marketing incentive programs.

Kelvin Njau completed their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) at Nyandarua High School from 2011 to 2014. Kelvin then obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Science, with a focus on Records and Archives Management, from Karatina University between 2015 and 2019. In 2021, they began the McKinsey Forward Program at McKinsey & Company.
