Diego Pacheco has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering industry. Diego began their career in 2005 as a Monitor at ULBRA, providing support to their peers in Data Structures, Language C, Programing Logical and Java. Later that year, they joined Compuletra as a Developer, working with Microsoft .NET/VB/ASP and Database MS SQL Server 2000. In 2006, they joined Expresso Mercurio S.A. as a Developer, working on a SOA integration project with ORACLE BPEL and a Java infrastructure. From 2007 to 2009, they worked at Target Trust as an Instructor, and at Global Projetos e Sistemas and Hoepers S.A. as a Software Architect. During this time, they implemented a configuration management solution with Maven, Hudson, Archiva, Bugzilla and Mylyn for Eclipse.

In 2009, Diego joined ilegra as Head of Architecture, where they were responsible for multi-customer evangelizing, overseeing, guiding, training and guaranteeing a high tech bar in multiple cloud-native projects. Diego also supported customer acquisition and account development, as well as innovating and evangelizing product culture, cloud-native, open-source, agile/lean, devops, and DTA way of working. Diego also held the role of Principal Software Architect and Consultancy/Delivery Leader, and Startup Mentor/Advisor. In 2019, they joined Thomson Reu as Head of Software Architecture, working on a cloud-native migration/acceleration for a leader of the market in TAX and Accounting Professionals. Diego also joined NEXTI GESTÃO ON-LINE as Head of Software Architecture, working on an online solution for security based companies, and Orsegups Participações S/A as Head of Software Architecture, working on a cloud-native/container-native digital platform for home/store security.

Diego Pacheco attended Gensa from 2000 to 2003, where they studied Computers. Diego then attended ULBRA from 2004 to 2010.
