William Vennes has worked as an Engineer at IllFonic since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Rooster Teeth starting in June 2016 as a Game Engineer. At Rooster Teeth, they collaborated with art and design to implement new features for current and upcoming game projects. William also worked with other engineers to create clean and sustainable code, ensuring smooth and bug-free games. William was involved in the development of the games "Vicious Circle" using Unreal Engine 4 and "RWBY: Grimm Eclipse" using Unity. Their accomplishments include implementing and sustaining gameplay systems, such as character abilities, weapons, game modes, and level elements for "Vicious Circle".
William Vennes completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) with Honors in Liberal Arts at Southern Methodist University from 2009 to 2013. William further pursued their education at SMU Guildhall from 2014 to 2016, earning a Masters of Interactive Technology in Software Development.
