Mark Beckwith

President Board Of Directors at Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS)

Mark Beckwith is an accomplished law enforcement professional with over 35 years of experience in municipal and higher education policing, emergency preparedness, and multi-sector response. Since May 2004, Mark has served as the President of the Board of Directors for the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System (ILEAS) Foundation, a not-for-profit organization focused on enhancing law enforcement capabilities in Illinois through funding and training. Additionally, Mark has held the position of President of ILEAS, overseeing a statewide mutual aid system encompassing 98% of Illinois law enforcement agencies. Previous roles include Deputy Chief of Police and Emergency Manager at Augustana College from November 2012 to May 2023 and Chief of Police for the Milan, IL Police Department from 1984 to November 2012. Mark's education includes attendance at the FBI National Academy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration from Western Illinois University.
