Keelen Barlow

Keelen Barlow is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in sports information and media relations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of Communications for Illinois State Athletics, Keelen is the primary media contact for women's basketball and soccer. Previous roles include Graduate Assistant in Communications at Illinois State, where notable achievements included a significant increase in social media engagement for men's basketball. As Sports Information Director for Brownsburg Community School Corporation, Keelen managed publicity for varsity sports and facilitated external communications. Additional experience includes directing communications for the Sneakers for Santa Shootout and overseeing media efforts for the College Summer League at Grand Park. Keelen holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Butler University and is pursuing a Master's degree in Kinesiology at Illinois State University.
