Jeff Mandell

Jeff Mandell is currently the Senior Director of Advanced Sciences and Head of Future Sequencing Technologies at Illumina. Prior to this, Jeff worked as a Senior Scientist at Ionian Technologies, Inc., focusing on DNA diagnostics. Jeff also has experience as a Research Associate at The Scripps Research Institute and as a Damon Runyon Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Additionally, Jeff has a background in programming and analysis from their time at the San Diego Supercomputer Center. Jeff holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from UC San Diego, as well as a B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
