Wilhelm Andreas

Wilhelm Andreas has extensive experience in field service engineering and support, currently serving as Sr. Staff FSE and FSE Team Lead for Emerging Markets North at Illumina since 2005. Responsibilities include providing second-level support to field engineers and managing complex account situations, alongside delivering in-house certified training adapted from US best practices. Wilhelm has also held positions as Staff FSE for Product Support and Staff Engineer for Emerging Markets, where support was extended to Channel Partners globally, emphasizing training at various international centers. Prior to Illumina, Wilhelm worked at Sequenom from 2002 to 2005, focusing on the installation and maintenance of MassSpec systems for genotyping. Wilhelm holds a Dipl. Ing. (FH) in Environmental Engineering Technology from Fachhochschule Jena and completed the Abitur at Walter Gropius Gymnasium Dessau.
