Tate Kernell, PhD has extensive work experience in various fields related to data science, mathematics, and research. Tate currently holds the position of Head of Data Science and previously served as Head of Engineering (Interim) and Senior Data Scientist & ML Developer at Illuminate. Prior to that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Cerner Corporation. Tate Kernell, PhD earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Notre Dame from 2009 to 2013. Subsequently, they pursued a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Baylor University from 2013 to 2019.
