Janette Steets

Janette Steets has a diverse work experience. Janette started their career in 2007 as an Associate Professor with tenure, Assistant Professor at Oklahoma State University. Janette worked there until 2018. In 2018, they joined Illumination Works as a Senior Consultant and worked until 2019. Janette then became a Principal Consultant & Manager in 2020, and later, in the same year, they were promoted to the role of Director of Data Science at Illumination Works.

Janette Steets obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Muhlenberg College, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Following their undergraduate education, they pursued a Ph.D. in Biology/Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh, from 2000 to 2005.
