Anand Jayaraman

Anand Jayaraman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology industry. Anand is currently the VP of Engineering at Illumio since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Google from 2019 to 2023, leading the engineering team in delivering next-generation security solutions for cloud transition and hybrid business models.

From 2016 to 2019, Anand served as the Director of Engineering at Nutanix, where they created and built a Kubernetes-based container platform called Nutanix Karbon for customers.

Before joining Nutanix, Anand worked at Cisco for over a decade. Anand held various roles, including Senior Development Manager and Technical Leader. Anand demonstrated expertise in various cutting-edge technologies, such as mobility, virtualization, and cloud services. Anand's responsibilities at Cisco included driving business growth, leading engineering execution, and establishing centers of excellence.

Anand began their career at HCL Technologies as a Project Leader from 1998 to 2007.
