Kaneka Turner

Kaneka Turner is an accomplished educator and leader in mathematics instruction, currently serving as the President, CEO, and Lead Math Leadership Strategist at Reimage, since June 2017. At Reimage, Kaneka specializes in developing math leadership pathways and supporting organizations in enhancing mathematics instruction. Additionally, Kaneka is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and serves as a Math Identity Leadership Accelerator Facilitator Coach for UnboundEd.org. Experience includes roles as a Professional Learning Facilitator with Illustrative Mathematics, a Virtual Course Instructor for Mount Holyoke College's Math Leadership Programs, and a National Professional Learning Facilitator for TERC. Previous positions encompass various roles in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and at Statesville Road Elementary School, leading initiatives in elementary math coaching and instruction. Kaneka holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics Teaching from Mount Holyoke College, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from North Carolina Central University.
