Tamara Richards is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in tax, treasury, and financial management. Currently serving as the Controller for Illustrative Mathematics since December 2018, Tamara has previously held prominent financial roles, including Director of Finance at the Forum for Theological Exploration and Tax and Treasury Manager at Drax Biomass Inc. Tamara's expertise encompasses comprehensive financial responsibilities such as budgeting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and treasury functions. With a Master’s degree in Taxation from Bentley University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The University of the South, Tamara has developed a robust skill set in managing financial operations and compliance throughout various industries.
