Peter van Bladeren possesses extensive experience in the food and nutrition sector, currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Mérieux NutriSciences since March 2017 and as President of the International Life Sciences Institute since January 2016. Previously, Peter held leadership positions including Chairman of the Supervisory Board at EIT Food from January 2017 to May 2018, and Global Head of Regulatory and Scientific Affairs at Nestlé until February 2017, where peter also served as Vice President of Science and Research. Peter's career began at TNO, where peter was the Director of TNO Nutrition and Food Research from 1993 to 2002. Academically, Peter van Bladeren earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Toxicology from Leiden University and completed a BPSE program at IMD in 2008.
