Garrett Droege

Garrett Droege serves as the Senior Vice President and Director of Innovation and Digital Risk Practice Leader at IMA Financial Group, Inc., where responsibilities include leading the Digital Risk Practice to assist emerging technology companies with complex risks and navigating the insurance marketplace. As a co-founder of IMA web3Labs, Garrett has established the first research and development facility in the insurance industry tailored for the web3 ecosystem. Previous roles include Executive Director/CEO at TechAssure, where Garrett managed an international network dedicated to technology and risk management, and Director of the Innovation Risk Division at Wade Associates, focusing on innovative companies. Garrett's background includes founding HGDesigns, a freelance software and web design company, and serving as an ambassador for the North Carolina Technology Association. Educational credentials feature a BA in Theatre and Communications from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a CLCS in Commercial Risk Management from The Hartford School of Insurance, along with ongoing professional education at MIT.
