Matthew Totero has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Matthew started their career as a Private Placement Specialist at Allen Capital Management in 2000. Matthew then moved on to work at Royal Bank of Scotland, where they held various positions, including Vice President of Credit Markets Sales and Vice President of Credit Derivative Operations. During their time at Royal Bank of Scotland, Matthew played a key role in the development and implementation of the global credit platform and successfully managed a team of 25 credit analysts. In 2009, they joined The Seaport Group as Vice President of Investment Grade Credit Sales, followed by a position as a Senior Vice President of Investment Grade Credit Sales at Nomura Securities in 2012. Matthew's most recent role is Director of National Accounts at The IMA Group, where they are responsible for managing national accounts and serving as a Vice President.
Matthew Totero attended The Hackley School from 1992 to 1996. Afterward, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, graduating in 2000. Alongside their formal education, they obtained two certifications from FINRA: the FINRA Series 63 - Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination and the FINRA Series 7 - General Securities Representative, both in June 2008.
