Kamal Mustafa

Kamal Mustafa is a skilled machine learning engineer currently employed at Intuition Machines, Inc. since November 2020. Previously, Kamal held the position of computer vision research engineer at AvidBeam Technologies, where notable projects included developing a precise real-time Egyptian license plate recognition system and a state-of-the-art feature-based tracking algorithm for crowded scenarios. Prior to that, Kamal served as a research and teaching assistant at The German University in Cairo, instructing courses in digital signal processing and computer science, among others. Kamal holds a master's degree in signal processing and communications from The University of Edinburgh and a bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, and communications engineering from Loughborough University.
