Cheng-Hua Jeff Pai has held various software engineering roles since 2006. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Southern California, where they published a paper on Moving Object Detection on a Runway Prior to Landing Using an Onboard Infrared Camera. From 2007 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineer at Big Stage Entertainment, Inc., where they were responsible for Computer Vision related core technology design and development. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at CyberDefender, where they maintained legacy antivirus software and evaluated open source libraries. Finally, from 2011 to present, they have worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Image Metrics, where they integrated company core tech, LiveDriverSDK into various platforms and built the initial BodyDriver prototype.
Cheng-Hua Jeff Pai received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of British Columbia in 2004. Cheng-Hua Jeff then went on to pursue their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, which they completed in 2007.
