Director Of Product Management at Image Sensing Systems

Rick Maus, PMP, has over 25 years of work experience in various roles related to product management, project management, and customer service. Rick currently works as a Senior Product Manager for Autoscope at Image Sensing Systems, Inc., where they have been since June 2017. Previously, they served as the QA Manager/SCRUM Master at the same company from September 2013 to May 2017.

Prior to their time at Image Sensing Systems, Inc., Rick worked as a Project Manager at Poliac Research Corporation for a brief period in the summer of 2013. Before that, they were available for new opportunities and held roles as both a Product Manager and Project Manager from February to June 2013.

Rick has also garnered experience in IT management, having worked as an IT Manager at 5280 Solutions from December 2011 to January 2013. Additionally, they held a long-term position at Weather Central starting in May 2004, where they served as both a Product Manager and Project Manager. Some of their responsibilities included managing various projects, such as data conversion and weather sensor deployments, as well as serving as a Customer Service Product Analyst.

Finally, earlier in their career, Rick worked at DTN Meteorlogix (Kavouras) from 1993 to 2004. During this time, they held roles as the Manager of Customer Service and the Manager of Broadcast Customer Service, where they managed field technicians, handled customer inquiries, and collaborated closely with product management.

Rick Maus, PMP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information and Technology Management from Concordia University-St. Paul, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to this, they completed coursework for transfer to Concordia at Inver Hills Community College from 2012 to 2015. Rick also holds an Associate degree in Electronics Technology/Computer Major from NEI, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991.

In addition to their formal education, Rick Maus has obtained several certifications. These include the Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (ACSPO) from Scrum Alliance in May 2020, the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in December 2019, the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) in November 2011, and the SAFe 4 Certified Agilist certification from SCALED AGILE in December 2017.
