Kate McMillen, MSOD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Kate also played a key role in shaping talent metrics and dashboards to inform growth strategies.

At Insperity, Kate worked as an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant - Talent & Strategy, providing executive development, strategy design, talent management, leadership development, change management, team building, and culture alignment for small to mid-size businesses.

As the Director of Talent Management Solutions at TTI Performance Systems, Kate directed the external strategic recruiting division and internal talent management strategy. Kate successfully led numerous nationwide searches and provided consulting on various HR functions.

Kate's early career included roles as an intern at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative and as a Campus Campaign Manager for Teach for America, where they sourced outstanding students and assisted with recruitment efforts.

Kate McMillen, MSOD, obtained a Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography and Global Studies from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, completing their studies from 2001 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Kate McMillen has obtained several certifications. Kate achieved an Employer Brand Strategist certification from Ph.Creative in November 2022. In May 2022, they completed a course on Creating Psychological Safety for Diverse Teams at LinkedIn. Kate also obtained certification in Leading with a Heavy Heart from LinkedIn in December 2021. In April 2019, they received a Leadership Styles and Organizational Climate certification from Korn Ferry. Further, they became a Real Colors Certified Facilitator through NCTI, Inc. in May 2018.
