Umar Farooq

Umar Farooq is a seasoned IT professional with over 21 years of experience in the field. Currently serving as Senior EMEA IT Support at Imagine Communications since September 2018, Umar has been the primary point of contact for software, hardware, and network changes across the EMEA region, ensuring minimal downtime during transitions. Previously, as EMEA IT Desktop Support Team Lead at Harris Corporation from October 2005 to September 2018, Umar managed a team of seven, provided desktop support, and oversaw various technical processes including Citrix VMWare support and network support. Umar's career began at Patientline Plc as a Site Activation Engineer, supporting a vast network of computers and servers. Umar holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Networking from the University of Westminster, earned between 1997 and 2007.
