Viren Kataria

Viren Kataria has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Viren currently holds the position of Chief Product Officer at Imaginera Limited, a role they assumed in January 2022. Previously, they served as the Head of Technology at the same company from January 2020 to January 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an Account Manager at Imaginera Limited from January 2017 to January 2020. Viren also has experience as a Software Engineer at the company, where they worked from September 2015 to January 2017.

Before joining Imaginera Limited, Viren worked at Zetica Ltd. where they served as a Programmer from August 2012 to September 2015. In this role, they were responsible for designing and developing a composite Greenfield WPF multi-threaded application for processing LiDAR data collected on train tracks around the world. Viren had complete product ownership and utilized an architecture based on Domain Driven Design, with the UI layer consisting of Prism 5.

Viren Kataria began their education at Ryan International, where they attained a first-class degree equivalent to A-levels. Following this, they attended the University of Glasgow from 2005 to 2010, completing a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng Honours) in Aeronautical Engineering. Viren then pursued further studies at the University of Glasgow from 2010 to 2011, obtaining a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Aerospace Systems.
