Mario Varon

Mario Varon has been working in the tech industry since 2008. Mario started as the Director of Research and Development at Proteccion Industrial, where they designed and implemented the corporate research and development policy and developed two business plans. In 2012, they became the Director of the ATIS "TRAFIX" Project at Sims Technologies SAS, where they secured USD 250,000 in funding from Colciencias and MINTIC and directed the project to design and implement an Advanced Traveler Information System. In 2013, they became the CEO and co-founder of CARE SAS, and in 2018, they became the CEO and co-founder of ImagineX SAS, which allows developers to share an ultra-realistic digital twin of their designs. Finally, in 2022, they became the CEO and co-founder of A2B Gadgets, which designs and manufactures Helmy, the first comprehensive safety product for riders and motorcycles.

Mario Varon obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes in 2007. Mario then went on to earn a Master's degree in Ingeniería informática from the same university in 2017. In between, they completed an Especialización en Políticas Públicas in Ciencias Políticas from Universidad de Los Andes in 2011. In addition, they have obtained certifications from NAEMT in 2012 for PREHOSPITAL TRAUMA LIFE SUPPORT and from Agent Video Intelligence in 2012 for AGENT VI SOLUTION INTEGRATOR (SISTEMA DE ANÁLISIS DE VISIÓN).
