Andrew D Jeffries has an extensive work experience in the field of engineering and technology. Andrew D started their career as an Assistant Adjunct Professor in Radiology (Physics) at the University of California, San Francisco in 1990. Simultaneously, they also worked at GE Imatron as a Senior VP of Engineering. In 1990, they joined the University of California, San Francisco as an Assistant Adjunct Professor, and they held this position until 2000. From 2004 to 2007, Andrew served as the Senior VP of Research and Development at Real-Time Radiography. Andrew D then joined Exxim as the Chief Operating Officer from 2005 to 2007. Following that, they became the Chief Technology Officer, Global at Swissray Global, Swissray Group, overseeing all global R&D and engineering activities from 2007 to 2017. Currently, Andrew is working as the Vice President of Engineering at Imatrex Inc., where they provide engineering and R&D guidance for the development of a cardiac computed tomography system, with a focus on detector technologies.

Andrew D Jeffries pursued their higher education from 1974 to 1978 at the University of California, Berkeley. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Physics. Following this, they attended the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1978 until 1983. There, they successfully completed their doctoral studies and was awarded a Ph.D. in Physics.
