Jaime Guillén Casas has extensive work experience in the field of research. Jaime started their career as a Predoctoral Researcher at the Instituto Superior Técnico Universidade Técnica de Lisboa in 2006. Jaime then worked as a Predoctoral Researcher at the Helsinki Biophysics and Biomembrane Group in 2007. Jaime continued their research journey as a Predoctoral Researcher at the Universidad Miguel Hernandez de Elche from 2002 to 2008, where they focused on the biophysical characterization of the membranotropic regions of the SARS-CoV glycoprotein S.
Following this, Jaime worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Universidad de Murcia from 2009 to 2011, where they studied the C2 domains of various proteins and their interaction with membranes. Jaime then joined CNRS, Aix-Marseille Université in 2012 as a Postdoctoral Researcher, working on the ALPHA project supported by the European Commission. Jaime'sresearch at CNRS focused on studying the mechanism of Alphavirus-specific inhibition and searching for inhibitors.
In 2014, Jaime joined Theranyx/Bioxtal as a Senior Research Scientist, where they worked until 2019. During this time, they contributed to various research projects and gained valuable experience in the field. In 2019, they transitioned to Imcheck Therapeutics, where they currently hold the position of Senior Research Scientist.
Jaime's work experience showcases their expertise in research, specifically in the areas of virology, biophysics, and membrane interaction studies. Jaime has been involved in both predoctoral and postdoctoral research positions, demonstrating their commitment to advancing scientific knowledge.
Jaime Guillén Casas completed a Licenciatura en Biología degree in the field of Biología, general from the Universitat d'Alacant. Jaime pursued this degree from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they attended the Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche, where they obtained a Licenciatura en Bioquímica from 2000 to 2002. The field of study for this degree is not specified.
