Bart Aerts

Bart Aerts is an experienced professional in nanotechnology and sensor development, currently serving as Team Leader at imec since March 2016, overseeing the development of sensors and actuators. Aerts has held various roles at Agfa from July 2007 to February 2016, including R&D Technician and Product Management Technician, where contributions were made to laser engravable foils and functional materials for diverse industries. Previous experience includes positions at Agfa Gevaert N.V., focusing on vacuum technology and imaging materials, and earlier work at UZA in anatomo pathology. Aerts has pursued ongoing education in chemistry, safety leadership, and vacuum technology.
