Karen van Keer

Karen Van Keer has over 20 years of work experience, starting in 1998 as an Experimental Scientist at Huntsman. Karen then worked at Philip Morris International as a Quality Control Analyst from 2003 to 2008. Since 2008, Karen has been with imec, where they have held positions such as Metrology Support Engineer and Lab Operations Lead. In their current role at imec, Karen is responsible for managing various life science labs, including overseeing hardware, safety, and activity management. Karen also serves as a security ambassador, quality ambassador, and safety coach within the Life Science group. Karen actively collaborates with lab responsibles to improve workflow efficiencies within the imec labs.

Karen Van Keer obtained their Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven, where they studied from 1995 to 1998.
