Thijs Walcarius

Thijs Walcarius is a Senior Engineer in the iLab.t Infrastructure Team at imec, providing support for researchers in accessing and utilizing resources such as servers and GPUs since April 2018. Prior to this role, Thijs served as a Scientific Researcher at IDLab, INTEC at Ghent University from September 2011 to April 2018, focusing initially on graph modeling and routing problems before transitioning into a development position. Thijs also gained early experience through student jobs in administration with Vlaamse Overheid and IT Helpdesk EMEA at Scientific Atlanta, with educational credentials including a Master’s Degree in Applied Engineering in Computer Science from HOGENT.
