Wim Braeken

Wim Braeken has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Maintenance & Engineering Manager at Imerys since October 2023. Previously, Wim held the role of Construction Services Manager at Borealis DeHy2 (Kallo) from March 2020 to October 2023, where important contributions were made during the construction phase of the new PDH project, in addition to managing the heat integration project in Beringen. Wim's tenure at Borealis from September 2005 to 2020 included various engineering and management positions, such as Engineering Manager, where oversight of investment project teams and project management duties were conducted, and roles focused on project cost, scheduling, and mechanical engineering. Wim's educational background includes a Master's degree in Applied Sciences and Engineering from KU Leuven and secondary education in sciences and mathematics from Sint-Jozefscollege Beringen.
