Prasad Balasubramanian

Prasad Balasubramanian began their career in 2003 as a Senior Systems R&D Engineer at DG2L Technologies. In 2006, they moved to Marlabs Inc. as a Programmer. In 2007, they joined Dolby Laboratories where they held two roles as a Staff Engineer in the Imaging Advanced Development Group and as a Sr. Design Engineer in the Cinema Mastering Group. In 2015, they became the R&D Manager at Nokia Technologies. Since 2018, they have been Co-Founder and CTO of AVATOUR.

Prasad Balasubramanian completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai between 1996 and 2000. Prasad then completed a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California between 2000 and 2001. Finally, they completed a Master of Engineering in Embedded Systems Design from USI Università della Svizzera italiana between 2002 and 2003.
