Esther Ndeto

Esther Ndeto has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Esther currently works as a Finance Manager at IMFact, where they provide strategic financial leadership and manages capital raising, investment strategies, cash flow optimization, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, internal controls, and regulatory compliance. Esther has successfully built the financial and administrative functions of the company in Kenya and manages a team and an annual budget of KES 172M.

Prior to this, Esther worked as a Finance Manager at the Kenya Pooled Water Fund, where they managed finance operations on a part-time basis. Esther oversaw financial reporting, regulatory compliance, payroll processing, and accounts payables for the non-profit company. Esther also provided financial management support for project closeouts.

Esther's previous experience includes working as a Chief Accountant at ALIOS FINANCE, where they led and executed accounting functions, provided financial oversight for two companies in Kenya, and supported financial reporting and staff training in Tanzania and Zambia. Esther also worked as a Payroll Accountant at GRAIN BULK HANDLERS LIMITED, where they executed payroll administration and tax compliance functions.

Earlier in their career, Esther worked as a Senior Audit Clerk at Inayat Bhaiji, where they developed audit plans, performed audit assignments, and improved clients' compliance frameworks by filing tax returns and preparing accounts.

Overall, Esther Ndeto has proven expertise in financial leadership, strategic planning, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance gained through their diverse work experience in various organizations.

Esther Ndeto began their education at Africa Nazarene University from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting. In 2008 to 2010, they attended Vision Institute of Professional Studies to pursue a Certified Public Accountant diploma in Accounting. In 2011, they obtained a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the Institution of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK).
