Bachir is an IMO based in Niger. He is responsible for improving access to essential health services in low resource and crisis countries during the COVID-19 epidemic by strengthening repeated, short-term monitoring of basic health services during this emergency, through working with the country health clusters.
Bachir has over seven years of experience working with GIS. Prior to joining iMMAP, Bachir worked with REACH Initiative in GIS for five years. Prior to that, he worked with the University of Abdou Moumouni in Niger for two years.
Bachir holds a Master´s Degree in Planning and Management of Urban Spaces and a Bachelor´s Degree in Geography from the University of Abdou Moumouni in Niger. He fluent in English, French, Haoussa and Zarma.
