Michelle Shen

Michelle Shen is a versatile professional with extensive experience in community support, photography, and cultural advocacy. Currently serving as a Community Fellow at Immigrant Justice Corps since September 2022, Michelle has screened over 120 NYC community members for relief eligibility and managed more than 90 cases involving a variety of immigration services. As a Freelance Photographer since 2013, Michelle has worked with over 100 clients, delivering high-quality photography and retouching services. Previous roles include hostess at Orchid Cafe, where operational efficiencies were developed, and student assistant at Wellesley Office of Intercultural Education, where Michelle facilitated the creation of commemorative items for the graduating class. Educationally, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Languages and Cultures with a focus on Korean from Wellesley College and has furthered studies in Korean at Seoul National University.
