Caitlin S. has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and research. Caitlin most recently worked as a Principal Research Associate at IMMPACT BIO, where they focused on the development and design of flow cytometry assays for CAR-T cell studies. Caitlin also filed a patent for a novel subset of CAR-T cells and implemented various assays to investigate CAR expansion and regulation. Prior to their role at IMMPACT BIO, Caitlin worked as a Senior Research Associate at Atara Biotherapeutics, an Associate Scientist at Amgen, and a Cell Therapy Specialist at Gilead Sciences. Caitlin also gained research experience at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, UCSF Medical Center, and Biotech Partners, Inc. In addition, Caitlin has freelanced as a math and science tutor.

Caitlin S. holds a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular and Cell Biology; Cell and Developmental Biology and Physiology from the University of California, Berkeley. Caitlin also completed a summer internship in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Additionally, they obtained certification as an Emergency Medical Technician from Moorpark College. Caitlin has further certifications including CPR & AED certification from the American Heart Association and National EMS Certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians.
