Guy Yachdav has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and data science. Guy currently serves as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at Immunai, a position they have held since May 2023. Prior to this, Guy held the role of Director of Software Engineering at Immunai from May 2021 to May 2023.
In addition to their work at Immunai, Guy has held various positions at different organizations. Guy worked as a Guest Lecturer at the Technical University Munich since October 2014, teaching the JavaScript Technology seminar. At Biosof LLC, Guy was a Co-Founder and Co-CEO since January 2005, overseeing the commercialization of software tools and databases used in pharmaceutical genomic research.
Guy also held leadership roles at Aiola, where they served as Vice President Customer Delivery from January 2021 to May 2021, and as Head of Customer Delivery from March 2020 to January 2021. Guy was a Lecturer on Machine Learning at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from March 2019 to January 2021.
Prior to these roles, Guy served as Chief Applied Data Science at artiio from October 2018 to March 2020, Head of Data Science at Voyager Labs from January 2017 to September 2018, and Director of Software Development at Columbia University from August 2003 to August 2010. Guy also worked as a Project Manager at Redshift Technologies, Inc. from July 2000 to August 2003.
Furthermore, Guy has served as a Project Mentor for Google Summer of Code in June 2014. Throughout their career, Guy has gained expertise in software engineering, data science, machine learning, and genetic data analysis.
Guy Yachdav earned a BSc in Computer Science and Political Science from Columbia University from 1998 to 2001. Guy then went to Columbia Business School and obtained an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from 2005 to 2007. Finally, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioinformatics at the Technical University of Munich from 2013 to 2015.
