Elizabeth Gabitzsch

As Vice President of Product Development for the company’s vaccine sciences program, Elizabeth Gabitzsch is responsible for the development of novel vaccines. Gabitzsch has extensive experience in the process, product development, and manufacturing of ImmunityBio’s proprietary vector technology and her responsibilities include everything from strategy development to day-to-day program management. Prior to joining Etubics, which was acquired by ImmunityBio, she was with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the Division of Vector-borne and Infectious Diseases where she was a recipient of an Oak Ridge Institute of Science fellowship. Gabitzsch received academic training in microbiology, chemistry and immunology at Colorado State University. Her research has focused on virology, vaccinology and immunotherapy.
