Jason Liljestrom

Jason Liljestrom is General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at ImmunityBio where he oversees all aspects of the Company’s corporate legal function. He offers valuable experience in the legal issues involved in capital markets, corporate finance, M&A and corporate governance, as well as excellent leadership skills that mesh with the ImmunityBio culture. He joined from William Lyon Homes, a publicly traded Western U.S. regional homebuilder, where he served as General Counsel as that company grew from $500 million in annual revenue to over $2 billion and up until the closing of its strategic acquisition by another public homebuilder. Earlier in his career, Jason was with the international law firm of Latham & Watkins, LLP where he served as outside corporate counsel to a variety of public and private companies in numerous industries including medical device, pharmaceuticals, tech and retail. His practice focused in particular on IPOs and other capital market transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities laws and general corporate advice. He was educated at Princeton University and subsequently earned his J.D. degree magna cum laude from the University of California’s Hastings College of Law in San Francisco.
