Atefeh Ghorbani has accumulated a wealth of experience in the field of biological research and laboratory work. Atefeh has held positions such as Head of Protein Production and Scientist at ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd, MCAT Biology Instructor at The Princeton Review, Postdoctoral Researcher at Simon Fraser University, Researcher PHD Student and Teaching Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Guest Researcher at University of Oslo, Research Assistant at Alzahra University, Laboratory Technician at Massoud Pathobiology Laboratory, and Laboratory Technician at University of Tehran. Atefeh has demonstrated their expertise in protein expression/purification, genetic analysis, molecular biology, and laboratory management throughout their diverse work history.

Atefeh Ghorbani completed their Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Tehran in 2008. Atefeh then pursued their Master of Science in Microbiology at Alzahra University from 2008 to 2011. Following this, Atefeh obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology and Infectious Diseases from Memorial University of Newfoundland between 2012 and 2021. Currently, they are finishing a Postdoctoral degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry at Simon Fraser University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in fields such as programming, drug discovery, and laboratory safety.
