Nienke Smits

Nienke Smits began their work experience as an Intern at Schering-Plough Research Institute in 2009, specializing in circular dichroism analysis of proteins. In 2010, they worked as an Analyst at Euro-Diagnostica AB before interning at Radboud University Medical Centre Nijmegen, focusing on prostate cancer marker research. Nienke then joined ImmunoPrecise Antibodies Ltd in 2011, progressing from a Technician to various roles in Business Development, Client Relations, and ultimately becoming the Director of Client Relations. Additionally, they participated in educational mentorship at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen in the role of Beta 1op1 mentor.

Nienke Smits completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Life Science at HAN University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2011. Nienke also attended Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences from 2008 to 2009. Prior to this, they attended Pax Christi College for their earlier education.
