Craig Baker

Craig Baker is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Vice President of Architecture at Immutable since January 2023, Craig previously held the role of Senior Director of Engineering at Block, following its acquisition of Afterpay for USD$29 billion. Craig played a crucial role in establishing and scaling Afterpay's Platform Engineering division, managing teams across multiple continents and leading efforts to transition to a distributed architecture. Prior experience includes positions at Coles, Sensis, and various start-ups, with notable achievements in developing scalable eCommerce solutions and directing engineering efforts for impactful technology initiatives. Craig holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Monash University.
