Syed Azeem Afzal

Syed started his career in 2003 at BBDO Proximity as the only developer in the team. Within 2 years, he grew and jointly led a team of 25 technology specialists, delivering a variety of projects from large-scale enterprise content management websites to digital campaigns, microsites, and apps.

Using his development background and technical planning experience, he played a key role in shaping the agency’s client servicing, project and technical management teams and setting up project management processes. Over the years, he gained extensive experience in FMCG, banks, telcos, auto, real estate, airlines & retail.

He now has the privilege of overseeing the MENA & Pakistan region and leading interdisciplinary teams across a variety of international and local clients while leveraging his background as a creative problem solver and a strategic thinker.
