Marie-Sophie Litz

Marie-Sophie Litz has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Marie-Sophie is currently the CTO & Co-Founder at ImpactNexus, a position they have held since January 2021. Prior to this, Marie-Sophie worked as a Softwareingenieur at Empolis Information Management GmbH from September to December 2020. Marie-Sophie also had a previous role as a Softwareingenieur at Empolis Solutions GmbH from March 2019 to August 2020.

Marie-Sophie began their career as a Junior-Softwareingenieur at Empolis Information Management GmbH in October 2016 and continued in that role until February 2019.

Before entering the professional field, Marie-Sophie gained experience as a Studentische Hilfskraft beim SFB “Discretization in Geometry and Dynamics” at Freie Universität Berlin from September 2012 to August 2015. Marie-Sophie also worked as a Tutorin im Fachbereich Mathematik und Informatik at Freie Universität Berlin from October 2010 to September 2011.

Marie-Sophie's internships include positions as a Praktikant at the University of Zagreb in February and March 2011, as well as a Studentische Hilfskraft im Geowissenschaftlichen Zentrum at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen from March to September 2010.

Additionally, Marie-Sophie gained teaching experience as an Unterrichtspraktikantin at Werbellinsee Grundschule, Askanisches Gymnasium, and Schadow Gymnasium in September 2007.

Marie-Sophie Litz began their education at Leibniz Gymnasium Berlin, where they obtained their Abitur degree in the year 2006. Marie-Sophie then went on to attend Freie Universität Berlin and pursued a bachelor's degree in a lehramtsbezogener Bachelorstudiengang with subjects in mathematics and chemistry from 2006 to 2010. Following their bachelor's degree, Marie-Sophie continued their studies at Freie Universität Berlin and obtained a master's degree in mathematics in 2016. Additionally, they also completed a master's degree in education, specifically Lehramt am Gymnasium, from 2010 to 2016 at the same institution.
